  • 1 pack of firm tofu, cut into slices
  • 1 cup of soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped green onions
  • Assorted vegetables: mushrooms, bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, etc.

  1. Step 1: In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, sesame seeds, and chopped green onions to make the marinade.
  2. Step 2: Place the tofu slices and assorted vegetables in a large ziplock bag. Pour the marinade over them, seal the bag, and gently shake to ensure everything is evenly coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for stronger flavors.
  3. Step 3: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the tofu and vegetables from the marinade, reserving the excess marinade for basting.
  4. Step 4: Grill the tofu and vegetables for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they develop grill marks and become slightly charred.
  5. Step 5: While grilling, baste the tofu and vegetables with the reserved marinade to add extra flavor.
  6. Step 6: Once cooked, remove from the grill and serve hot. Garnish with additional sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
